So, you want to go to Patagonia? I don’t blame you. Having only been there a single time, I still can’t stop thinking about it. But how did this upcoming workshop come to be? Who did I meet that sparked this little adventure? What is the class about, and what is my philosophy regarding how I would approach the class? This is a workshop about experience, appreciation, notebooks, and books. This is a class about finding your uniquely personal narrative and translating that to the printed page. For those of you wondering, I’ve got new tasks in front of me, one of which is to produce more motion content for Blurb, so much of what you see in this film is simply me testing new things. I have a love/hate relationship with filmmaking. I know my limitations and that I can’t do multiple things simultaneously, but I also know this is a common tale of modern life, and I, too, need to adapt. If this class sounds interesting, please reach out.
The footage of the journals and books comes at the end. As does my reading of a journal entry. FYI (For short attention span folks. You know who you are.)

Dan, great video today. I have a question about your journals, I know, I could sign-up for your workshop, but that isn’t in the cards right now. But here goes. How are you making these prints while on the road, outside of the workshop environment? It seems that you are journaling while on the road and you have your great images pasted into the journal book. I use a small thermal printer that I can carry with me (quite small), but nothing that would print like you are doing. Any ideas would be much appreciated. TIA
