“Bikes up Guns down.” Somewhere near Little Haiti. When people ask me about photography I often speak about spacing. Spacing is the key to everything I attempt to do with a camera. I love the 50mm, and the 50 works in both tight spacing and middle spacing, which is how I would describe this image. The 50mm is long enough to compress things, just slightly, and allow for a tad more distance from the things you are photographing. So in a scene like this, where I’m entirely out of place, I can work a bit more freely.
