I love Ben Mezrich books. The Accidental Billionaires, The Ugly Americans, Bringing Down the House and Rigged. (Among others) His nonfiction style is interesting and he tells a good story because the stories he chooses to tell are almost beyond comprehension.
I know little about oil but what little I know has triggered a lasting desire to know more, much more. I also know little about the New York Mercantile Exchange, other than what I learned from the movie Trading Places. And to add to things I know little about, Dubai comes in near the top as well. Combine these items, and a twenty-five-year-old kid from New York and you end up with Rigged.
A great story and a great ride. Get it, read it.
