Did I mention I like John McPhee? I mean I like him like him. I do. And any book that ends with a chapter about New Mexico is going to find a cozy home on my bookshelf. McPhee does it again with Pieces of the Frame, a short story collection about Atlantic City, Scotland, tennis, basketball, river life, and roadkill in Georgia.
This book made me want to stop what I was doing, pick a place on the map and go write. Engaging, serious, humorous, informative, personal. Nothing but praise here people. Get it, read it.
