Read: Even Dogs in the Wild

This was my first Rankin book, which is saying something as the guy is prolific. Mystery, who-done-it, cop-based, Scotland. Ducking and diving and twisting and turning. I don’t read many of this genre but I enjoyed this. With one hundred pages to go, I felt like I’d solved it but was wrong. That always makes me feel dumb and happy. Even Dogs in the Wild” was best in the main character (Rebus series) as well as subtle clues, small detail and fast-paced storyline. If you read this genre I’m assuming you might know Rankin already.
