Michael Napper is a San Jose based artist who writes, paints, photographs, makes books and fills in the gaps by creating and sending a wonderful variety of correspondence pieces. I’ve known Michael for almost twenty years, and I have to admit I’ve found great inspiration in his work. From our days of drinking espresso at Argentinian cafes in Los Angeles to our exploring the drainage ditches of San Jose, we always seem to find the marrow of the absurd. Oh, and don’t get me started on mini-disc recording.
