  1. Get some ghost pepper oil for the seeds. Birds don’t notice it, squirrels will run like hell. Also, I presume your wife does not watch these videos, or perhaps she punches you in the back regularly.

  2. Get some Ghost Pepper oil for the bird feeder. Squirrels hate it, birds don’t notice.

Also, I presume the Mrs. Doesn’t watch these videos? or perhaps she’s got a Dan voodoo doll with a bunch of pins in the back of it…

  3. The information you offer is so good that I don’t care where you post it. Hell, I’d go buy a black and white TV with a pair of rabbit ears if that was the only way I could see it!

  4. YouTube is like an addictive drug, especially the part about chasing the high that you never find again. So I jumped to books. Having been a cop for 26 years, I dealt with endless drunks, so I’ll probably pass on the YouTube airport drunks videos. 😂

  5. Love the stamps on the journal. I too have really enjoyed the few prints I’ve had made using Ilford silver halide paper. Done by WhiteWall here in the UK, who use similar Fuji papers for colour. The quality of the lightjet prints made buying a Canon inkjet printer (something I was considering) totally irrelevant.

yes, I know WhiteWall. Good stuff. Trad photo prints are so stellar. I actually like pretty much any kind of print tech. Lo fi, hi fi. All of it.

  6. My back issues (ongoing) can be divided into two eras; that time before I started using an incline board and the present time after I started using an incline board. Hanging upside down saved me from back hell and is an excellent form of meditation.

  7. Hi Dan! Some time ago I asked for recommendation for a M6 replacement. XT5, ZF and X100whatever model. You leaned towards ZF. Tried it twice in a shop and didn’t liked it. Got a deal that I couldn’t pass (I’ll sell if I hate it and still make money kind) and here I am.. Funny enough, when you actually shoot with the damn thing it works a treat! As for the handling, I haven’t decided yet if I even want the grip.. and monochrom mode is gorgeous. Thanks 👍 also participaded in my local musem photo ‘contest’ for local photographers. I printed some of my stuff from recent travels and it was funny to see it next to mostly bird and small fox photos;) thanks a million and I hope you’ll get your back sorted..

Ah, that’s cool. You can’t go wrong with any of those babies. My wife had an XT5 in Antarctica, in terrible weather and just killed it with her take. My X100V is killer and so small, and the Nikon works great for stills and video.

Nope, I’ve had the Garmin for at least eight months. Amy has my Vaer. I miss it at times. So small and simple, but I’m tracking my fitness and such and this Garmin is king.

  8. So was it from carrying a heavy shoulder slung camera bag for many years? Is that why your spine is bent? Hope you get it fixed, it must be painful!

No, but that didn’t help matters. No idea how this was started unless it was just genetic, but it was quite a surprise finding this out at 55.
