Okay, jackals. Uncle Danno is coming to New York City to attend the NYABF and give a talk at a nearby location. After the talk, we will head to the fair, where Blurb will have a booth for the entire day of Friday, September 12th. Also, my talk will include a live interview with my old bud Alex Palumbo, a dyed-in-the-wool, real, full-time working photographer/filmmaker. If you haven’t attended the NYABF, just know it’s pure printed insanity. Attendance is rumored to be in the tens of thousands of people. I’ve attended this show before, and can attest to the numbers. You will see every type of publication imaginable. The art book world is the most open, Democratic space left in printing/publishing. The event is hosted by Printed Matter. If you haven’t been to their physical location, just know it’s filled with 15,000 independent artist books. If you want to attend the talk, make sure you RSVP at the link above.
