There are three things we need to discuss. All three are integral to my life. First, my hat. Why do I wear this? Why do I wear it like I do and what kind of hat is it? What about my buff? Some of you are probably asking “What’s a buff?” Well, I’m here to help. And finally, my journal. Why does it look the way it does? And how should this impact you? The creative process is a strange thing. The process can be unlocked in a myriad of ways and for a myriad of reasons. Things that seem inconsequential to you might be life-changing for someone else. I try not to trivialize anything, at least until I have a chance to ponder it in depth.

I’ve still got the vague intention to make some Blurb journals as gifts. Did you make that journal? I’m asking because of the page that has the photo of you – thinking about some design ideas. It looks like you added that to the journal on the go, can’t figure out how.

Just make something small and make something now. A journal is the easiest thing in the world to make. There is no right and wrong. I make a journal then modify it as I go along, making each one entirely unique. This is no plan, no stress, nada.
