One of the best aspects of my job is talking to talented people. Photographers, designers, illustrators, artists, business owners, finance people, marketing people, brand people, tech folks, and even fellow brand ambassadors. Oftentimes, the conversations we have in private are different from those we would have in public. I find myself thinking, “I wish others could listen in.” It’s not that secret information is being shared, although that does happen; it’s more about one professional to another. Certain things are taken for granted or understood without needing verbal reinforcement.
Elena and I were talking about Japan, and one of these conversations began.
I was asking her questions about a recent assignment, and she was asking me questions about how some of my process works. We both realized this might be a conversation worth sharing, which is why I’m writing this post. Buckle up, we are inviting anyone who wants to listen to us talk about assignments, photography, process, books, and anything else we feel like talking about. What will happen? I don’t know. Normally, when she and I talk, it’s logistics about workshops. Education plans, flights, class assignments, etc. This time…who knows? If this sounds interesting, follow the link and come have a listen.

One thing I love is listening to people talk about their experiences in Japan. I’m looking forward to this!
