How can you live without this podcast? A feisty week, but for the love of God, someone has to say these things. Let’s talk Leica rerelease, NFL update, UFC 280, and the current crisis in the professional camera field where NOBODY makes one camera to do all. How about the failure of our Supreme Court and how this might impact things like Americans paying taxes? Analog Albania, YouTube success, and the rebuild of the best bike in the world.

Yep, I figure it will have the new 40MP and better autofocus. No grip, which for along lens is a semi-irritating thing especially when shooting vertically. 4k video from what I’ve seen but don’t know if that is 4K120 or something else.

  2. Listening to this makes me happy for the simplicity and peacefulness of my life, nothing to do, nothing left undone. Be safe and well, Daniel.

  3. I always enjoy these. I haven’t bought a new camera in years. Last was the X-H1. I’m eyeing the XH2s and the XH2, but I need to do some things first. The main thing is using the equipment I have. Right now, there’s pretty much nothing I do that the X-T2 and X-H1 can’t handle. I used to shoot events and live music, and I wanted better low light performance. I think in those situations that 12MP Sony (A7IIIs?) or a full frame might have helped. Even a jump to the X-T3 or X-T4 with better low light focusing would have been worth it if I continued on that route.

But I shot some photos of a friend (model) recently. Going through the photos, I started thinking that maybe it’s time to think about getting newer tech. I like the photos well enough. I don’t need super sharp, but my cameras are 5 years old now.

I don’t shoot anything that requires amazing follow focus, so either XH2 would be great for me. I’ve read (don’t quote me) that one is likely looking at a lens refresh to get the most from the cameras. Not sure that’s in the budget for me these days. I’m not in a huge rush, so I might see what the X-T5 looks like.

Palle Schulz is a Fuji ambassador. I always enjoy his videos. He just shot a music video with the XH2s. He has the video on his YT channel along with a separate video talking about how he did it, thoughts on the XH2s, etc.

I like Palle. He’s got a sense of humor. I will be purchasing an “s” and a few new lenses. I’m using XT2’s so this is a major upgrade. I need the motion capability and the autofocus. At some point, just for stills, I might get an XT5. It will be nice to have cameras that all use the same battery.

  4. I recently took just an XH2 with the new 23 & 33 one fours to the South Pacific islands (and sun screen!) and am very satisfied with the results; suggest you check this camera out before you buy into Sony further.
