Creative: Conversation Series: Nick Tauro Jr.

Anyone who reads my Shifter site will recognize the name Nick Tauro Jr. Nick is an inspiration and one of the few people who can make me feel like I’m not producing much. Nick is a photographer and book/zine maker who does his thing in a way I find commendable. We talk about photography, improv comedy, print, inspiration, and what the future might hold. (He is a Blurb/MagCloud user, but you can substitute any other option as long as you print your work.)

This is the first of three new interviews.

I intend to provide a long, slow look at what it’s like when two photographers get together. The intention here is not to sell you on anything. The intention is to get you to listen to the ideology of someone who has been making stellar photographs and publications for years. Someone who works a full-time job in the creative world while still fulfilling his personal vision. You can find Nick here.

  1. Yes it was! I love how the prism adds an appealing visual random surprise to his work, and how the printing is not necessarily something precious.
