You know how busy I’ve been if it’s September and my yearly book total is hovering around the forty book mark, half of my normal yearly total. Looks like it’s only going to get worse, but I’m not complaining. Love what I’m working on. Shibumi by Trevanian is a cult book of sorts. A hundred pages in I wondered “Why haven’t I seen this movie?” Turns out Dicaprio just signed on. This book has planted a few seeds in me. The Japanese game of Go. The idea of Shibumi. Proximity sense. Hell, I don’t know what’s real, what’s not. I don’t care. Go is fun, and boy do I suck at it. Assasins, caving, sex. Need I say more?
I don’t want to give too much away about this little work of fiction, but it’s good. And worth your time. Get it, read it.

Absolutely one of my favorite books of all time. I really enjoy this authors other works as well.
Author
Larry,
You know Don Winslow wrote a prequel? “Satori,” I’m reading it now.
Yes, I did. The Hel character in both books is fascinating to me.
