Man was this trip eye opening. Many firsts for me, including running for my life from the HPD who were bent on crushing all of us journos. Luckily for me, and not so luckily for slower journalists, I got away. Some didn’t. Tune in to learn more!

Great story Daniel! I really enjoyed it.
As you said this shit (police brutality) it’s been going on forever and everywhere in the world … Is not only a third world country issue or an US “Rambo” alike mentality cops thing … Anyway, I don’t want to start a rant in your site, lol.
Thanks for sharing.

Erlantz,
Certain forces are known for certain things, historically. I don’t know what Houston is known for, but others are known for violence, corruption, or even progressive, human, new-age policy. I think if the public knew what was really going on there would be outrage, but most just think it will only happen to the less fortunate. It’s a tough job. Underpaid, and in certain communities, as we know, they are truly detested. I had a close call a few weeks ago ON MY STREET. Cops mistook me for someone else and had I not been walking a friend’s dog I would have been tackled, pinned and cuffed.
Thanks for sharing this Daniel. Great image.
