Dispatches: Andrew Peacock

A plane to Sydney, a train to Blackheath, a car ride and and a short walk into the bush was all that was required for this little posting. Andrew Peacock is a medical doctor, one that specializes in expedition medicine. In short, he goes to incredible places and takes on the task of keeping the rest of the expedition healthy and alive. In addition, yes there’s more, he’s also a photographer and bookmaker. You might have seen his images from Nepal, the Himalaya and those others spots on the Earth mainly comprised of ice. I was able to track him down between expeditions and here’s what he had to say.

Also included here is another interview that delves deeper into the medical side of things.
