Calgary and Montreal for Blurb road trip 2012.
From the plane window. Some people have done entire books on this view of the world, but for me this represents the rare plane bound image that might actually work. Normally my plane pics are useless reflections. Have a look, have a listen.

Good photograph, Daniel, at first thought I thought it showed seagulls on a pond. I like it when that happens. I visited Toronto on my last vacation, quite a few years ago now. I hope to return there one day. Everything you say about airplane photography is true: so much promise, so little delivered. These Leica files are going to cost me money; I miss my film Leicas.

Mike,
Oh no…not a film Leica. That’s a guarantee you will NEVER get sponsored! But I say go for it!
Daniel, how did you manage to use Tmax 3200 for so many of your photos (I’m thinking particularly of Sicily)? N.D. filter or processing?

Mike,
I never even used a ND. I just rated the film anywhere from 800 to 6400. I did use yellow filters one year but they gave me too much contrast.
On the same roll? If so, just standard development and rely on the latitude of the film? Thanks.

Mike,
Nope. Have to choose an ASA for each roll. You could kinda wing it if you had to but it’s better to choose one speed and do the entire roll.
