You gotta love Frank. Just doing his thing. And that thing varies depending on what hat he is wearing although I’ve never actually seem him wearing a hat. But don’t get distracted from the good. I’ve written about and featured Frank here before, and I’m sure I will again. I would describe him as a quiet person and a quiet photographer, but I mean that in the best possible way.
Frank makes work all the time. Images, books, journals, artwork, etc. He makes and moves on. Teaches too, but I know him as a maker of artifacts. He shared one such artifact with me recently. The Jackson Journal, complete with postcards. I’ve always been puzzled by why more people don’t make things like this, but the only thing I’ve come up with is that there are a lot of “creatives” who are waiting to be told what to do, who to be and how to be it. While there are others, like Frank, who just motor on.
Power to the people. Thanks Frank.
