This is a fun time at Blurb. We have several new team members, including two living on an island in the Philippines, and we are doing events we’ve never done before, including next week’s Create With Me event. Imagine you and me making books, together, online, with numerous others doing the same. There will be ways to share your work, get feedback, watch me mangle my own publication, and there will be giveaways. I like everything about this.
It is rather complicated behind the scenes, and thankfully these new teams members are there doing their part to keep the production rolling, which makes the entire thing possible for me. I have no grand plans to complete something, start to finish, but I have been pondering how I’m going to tackle the design of an ongoing project, so this will be the imagery I use. Can’t wait! I subscribed to this event a few weeks ago, before I left for the workshop. I’m very interested in the design of your ongoing project. The design of the book is always the hard part.

You and me both Andreea. I’ve started and stopped this thing three times so far. I’ve changed the angle of attack on the photography, which meant a new design angle of attack. Still early days for me.
