Hello, reader. Just got off a call with Raw Society, who, as many of you know, have done quite a lot of work in Nepal. Don’t know about you, but the footage of the glacial flood was some of the most terrifying footage I’ve ever seen. My heart goes out to the Nepalese, Tibetan, and Chinese people, as well as the high number of tourists and pilgrims caught up in the disaster. Raw Society has organized a print sale to benefit Nepal. See below.
EMERGENCY PRINT SALE FOR NEPAL! OPEN TILL 27 SEPTEMBER
The recent devastating floods in Nepal have caused widespread destruction, taking lives, displacing families and leaving communities facing the loss of homes, livelihoods and essential infrastructure. As the immediate emergency gives way to the long process of recovery and rebuilding, support will continue to be urgently needed.
In response, The Raw Society has brought together this special print sale to raise funds for the communities affected.
ABOUT THE PRINTS
The Raw Society Pro Members and some special guests have generously donated their photographs. These photographs are available as limited-edition charity prints of 50 for 150€ each.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES
All proceeds from the print sale, after the direct costs of printing and shipping, will be donated to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), specifically to its Nepal Flash Floods Emergency Appeal, supporting relief and longer-term recovery efforts for affected communities.
Neither The Raw Society nor the participating photographers will receive any payment from the sale. Head to the link in bio to view all available prints and help us make a difference!
