Things are starting to take shape. Day two in Japan. I had this concept in mind before I left, but didn’t know if I would like it until I glued these strips in place and began to ponder next steps. This is what I would call “Phase One” of the Japan book. It always starts with the journal, always. A free fire zone of creative whatever. Whatever I feel like at that moment. That’s the way it should be. Across the street at the baseball stadium, the band plays the James Bond theme song. The stands are empty, but the few who attend at all in. Chants and shouts and passion.
The sun comes in and out over the boxy skyline of Tokyo.
Phase Two will be a single paragraph of fictional copy. Quick, random, off the top of my head. Boom, boom, boom. When it comes, and when time has passed, I will weave all the paragraphs together into a longer, fictional tale. Then Japan 2026 will be complete. Then Phase Three will begin. I know what this phase is, but I won’t share it now. It will be different from anything I’ve done. And yes, there is Phase Four that will be over-the-top, crazy, odd, and labor-intensive, but worth the lift. Phase Five will be the Blurb addition, as always.

Get one. They are SO small and light. And the look is cool. They won’t last, but if you reshoot or scan….
