This is the first sci-fi book I’ve ever read. Loved it. Written by a vet, the book is a space reflection on the Vietnam war. Joe Haldeman’s The Forever War is a scary look at a potential future. The imagined technology alone is worth the read, and how matter of fact it’s delivered. The book made me dream about space and physics, and how even though this book is fiction, the reflection it shows is one of fact. Get it, read it.
